“Promised Love: Living, Loving, and Never Ending” is the experience of God’s love that remains, even when who we love fades away. The journey includes love for my parents, the love I found in Jesus, and ultimately falling In love with my spirit husband. After his passing, I found myself in a low place because I was overwhelmed by grief, becoming lost, and confused. You see, our adventure in love included romance and chivalry. It was a love God had promised us, even though I had secretly believed that kind of love no longer existed. He was my friend, confidante, protector, provider, and biggest supporter.

 

I learned that the stages of grief were normal and embraced my right to each of them without apology, guilt, or what others may think. My intention was to grieve gracefully but to also understand that I could determine my own pace. I had completely shut down and wanted to no longer acknowledge God, the Promise Keeper, and my very first love. As I made my way back to Him and His love, I became inspired to share and encourage you to hold on to your loved ones and enjoy every minute God allows you to be alive.
